Although this English info is very much based on the Dutch info, we took special care to complement the yellow pages with indispensible information for foreign students. Next to all sorts of practical and day-to-day information, we also aimed at providing you with up-to-date information on places you should definitely visit. Without popping in to some of the pubs, eateries, clubs or cultural centers mentioned in this guide, your stay in Antwerp simply wouldn’t be complete. The latter is a matter of opinion of course, but the justification for this info, next to its intended audience, is very much its editorial staff. Composed of students of the Antwerp University Association, the staff took pains to come up with a balanced selection of highlights: from the most well-known club in Antwerp to the hidden gems in quiet, cobbled streets - they turned Antwerp upside down. The goal: to come up with info that will please the most critical native ‘Sinjoor’ as well as the newly-arrived foreign student.
